Zen World
"Thierry David invites you back into his mystical space of peace and calm with Zen World, the follow-up to his chilled masterpiece Zen Pause. Once again, the mood is mellow, with arrangements that meld light, tripped out beats with entrancing synth ambience, piano, keyboard tones and haunting vocalese. The album has a very dreamy feel to the music, coupled with a sense of sophistication that makes it sound like a cross between something you’d expect to hear in an urban cocktail lounge and spa. It’s great for the listener who wants something cool and suave that makes you want to relax, but has enough upbeat energy and appeal to keep you stimulated."

Secret Journey
"This is Omar Akram's third album
for Real Music, and it definitely shows his growth
as an artist. This album has much more of a multicultural
lean to it, blending smooth, serene new age music
with Middle Eastern, Greek and Spanish instrumentation.
At its core, you have Omar's poignant piano playing
and his amazing flair for melody."

Relax: A Liquid Mind Experience
“When it comes to relaxing ambient
music, few composers come close to the light, emotive
sound of Chuck Wild and his Liquid Mind series.
The music is not only incredibly soothing, but light
as air, wrapping the listener in a blanket of flowing
synthesizer and keyboard tones. RELAX brings
together some of Wild's most gorgeous Liquid Mind
selections from his past eight albums in one recording,
including 'Touching Calm' from his SLEEP
album and "Awakening" from SERENITY.
Though coming from different albums, the music blends
well from one track to the next providing over an
hour of pure, relaxing atmosphere music. Also included
on the album is one new cut –
‘I Am Willing’.”

Gratitude Joy
"The Perfect Spa CD
I'm very sensitive to all kinds of stimuli, which
makes me a fussy spa customer. Usually something
has to be changed. The table is too hot. The light
is too bright. When the therapist asks me how much
pressure I like, I say, "it depends."
I'm especially sensitive when it comes to music.
So much "spa music" is piano and flute,
which is way too stimulating for me. But I would
be perfectly happy with "Gratitude Joy."
It is beautiful devotional chanting with Indian
instruments like the tabla, and I love the idea
behind it -- gratitude. One of the artists, Anand
Anugrah, says he is expressing gratitude to existence
through a devotional singing of "om."
It has timeless feeling that lets you float along,
and I love it. If you like a lot of different "songs"
it's not the CD for you, but if you like beautiful
chanting that is spiritual and soothing, it will
put your mind and spirit at ease."
- Anitra Brown, Spa Guide at About.com
"Brings a smile to my soul and
a calm to my spirit. I was absorbed in a project while
the music was playing in the background and suddenly
I was smiling and started focusing on the music, thinking
of how grateful I am to be alive and what a tremendous
gift that is. Wonderful music to remind us of such
things."

Zen Pause
"Noted ambient producer
turns his attention to music for spas with this genre-bending
set that has new age meeting trip hop and club music.
By bending electronica elements less than you would
think, the genre splice is successful. A well crafted
set for those making the transition from club hopper
to suburban mom (and wondering how they got there),
David has handily moved down-tempo from Ibiza to mud
masks and pedicures with no bumps in the road."
- Chris Spector, Midwest Records
Tropical Meditation
"Whoever wants their winter fun can keep it;
give the rest of us Hawaii. Created over time in a
studio with a great Hawaiian vista, it seems like
the view charged up the players. If a set like this
can't ease the pain of a traffic jam, nothing can."
- Chris Spector, Midwest Records
Lotus Land
"At once peaceful and spiritually
uplifting, this gentle and graceful music is state-of-the-art
audio getaway for life in a stressed world. While the
languid tracks freely stretch out, they have a beginning,
middle and end and are anything but mood-making noodling."
- Chris Spector, Midwest Records
